Proud parents Sophia and Joshua Sartori welcomed Scarlett to the world as "Mr. Jones" by Counting Crows, weighing in at 6 pounds, 15 ounces, and measuring 19.75 inches.
Hot on Scarlett's heels, UChicago Medicine AdventHealth Hinsdale greeted a new baby boy. At 12:18 a.m., Van Anthony Larson was born to parents Andie and Tyger Larson, of La Grange, weighing a hearty nine pounds, two ounces and stretching out to 21 inches long, as per information provided by CBS News Chicago. This marks a joyous start to the year for the Larson family.
Meanwhile, just as the night still resounded with New Year's cheers, Ethan Jovanni Maxinez was welcomed into the world at 12:56 a.m. at Advocate Lutheran General Hospital. Zara Amirova and Giovanni Maxinez, Ethan's elated parents, alluded to their son as the perfect start to their new chapter, with a birth weight of 6 pounds, nine ounces, and 19 inches in height.
In a turn of romantic timing, new parents Brittany and Anthony, not only celebrated the birth of their daughter but also tied the knot just a day earlier at UChicago Medicine AdventHealth Hinsdale. In a statement obtained by ABC7 Chicago, the couple exchanged vows at 6:00 a.m., and after being induced, Brittany gave birth to Princess Anyiah Olivia Kolawole-Hawkins the following morning at 12:56 a.m., weighing 6 lbs. 15 oz., and measuring 19 inches long.
The Advocate Christ Medical Center also welcomed a baby girl, Julia, at 1:20 a.m. to parents Shuroug and Mahmoud of Hickory Hills, reported by CBS News Chicago.
