Residents of Miami can expect a partly cloudy sky with a current temperature of 73°F. Humidity is at 50%, with east wind blowing at 13 mph and a barometric pressure reading of 30.26 in, according to the latest update from the National Weather Service.
The forecast promises a gradual warming trend. "Mostly sunny, with a high near 74," today, as the winds shift from north to east, while an expected east wind of around 8 mph will maintain overnight temperatures in the mid-60s, reported the NBC Miami. The warming will continue through Monday with projected highs near 80 degrees, but this is a temporary spike before another cold front sweeps in.
A significant winter storm system, which is causing concern across the country for its potential to unleash snow and ice, will lead to a drop in temperatures locally as we head into Tuesday. As a result, morning lows may dip into the 50s, with afternoon highs hovering in the upper 60s, which "would be the coldest air we’ve had in a few years," as noted by NBC Miami.
Looking ahead to the rest of the week, the forecast indicates consistent sunny conditions, with Monday seeing a high near 80 and breezes from the south reaching between 10 and 15 mph, gusting as high as 20 mph. By Wednesday, temperatures are anticipated to rebound, reaching a high near 70 with a north wind around 10 mph, as stated by the National Weather Service.
