Though, keep an eye on the sky Sunday, as there appears to be "a chance of rain and snow showers before noon, then a chance of rain showers," with a 30 percent chance of precipitation. Despite the imminent reprieve from the freeze, NWS advises residents to remain vigilant and to keep warmly dressed to stave off the winter cold.
