Residents of Potrero Valley were met with an alarming scene as a mobile home went up in flames, sparking a vegetation fire in the area. CAL FIRE/San Diego County Fire took to social media to inform the community, stating, "@CALFIRESANDIEGO is at scene of a vegetation fire on Potrero Valley Road. There is a fully engulfed mobile home that has extended into the vegetation." Firefighters were on the scene, working diligently to prevent the blaze's spread.

Despite the immediate danger posed by the fire, the quick response of firefighting crews contained the vegetation fire to a mere 1/4 acre.
