Broward County saw a disturbance early today as firefighters responded to a storage facility fire in Central Broward near Fort Lauderdale. Local 10 News reported that about 35 firefighters arrived at 132 NW 25th Terrace, where they saw moderate smoke coming from two units.

Firefighters entered the building and tackled the fire at the rear of one unit. Despite thick smoke filling the area, the fire was under control within 20 minutes. No injuries were reported, though the fire caused significant damage to the contents of the unit.

WSVN reported that several units were opened and their contents moved to a parking lot to prevent further damage. Officials said, the fire seems to have started inside one of the units. One unit was destroyed, and another suffered smoke damage.
