The Donald Ross Road Bridge, an important structure for both road and marine traffic in Palm Beach, has reopened for boat passage after a temporary mechanical issue. According to the Hoodline, while the issue halted waterway movement, vehicular and pedestrian traffic remained unaffected.
Palm Beach County officials confirmed that the bridge experienced unexpected component issues, leading to the temporary closure for marine traffic. These issues have since been resolved, allowing mariners to resume using the route for nautical navigation, as per the Palm Beach County website. The Coast Guard issued a Broadcast Notice to Mariners during the disruption to alert boaters.
According to The Palm Beach Post, the bridge is now fully operational, allowing large boat traffic to pass once again after the mechanical problems were fixed.
