Miami-based private investigator David Bolton has shed light on a case involving love, cryptocurrency, and betrayal. A young Tunisian woman, Maissa Jebali, has found herself at the center of accusations after allegedly siphoning off nearly $850,000 in TrumpCoin from her ex-boyfriend, Anthony Bravo. Bolton told 7News that Jebali likely had ulterior motives when she embarked on a relationship with the successful crypto investor. After a tumultuous romance, Bravo's digital wallet was drained, and Jebali was caught after using his American Express to book an Airbnb.

According to the arrest report, as detailed by Local 10 News, Jebali was not present when Bravo woke on the morning of February 9 on his yacht—just days after ending their relationship. Bravo soon discovered the sizeable crypto transaction falsely credited to a wallet unconnected to him. Bolton's investigative skills led to Jebali's capture at a downtown Miami hotel last Friday, where authorities responded to the scene.

Bravo's relationship with Jebali, whom he met about six months prior at a marina, was unguardedly intimate with her curiosities in cryptocurrency—and in turn, her hands in his wealth. Bravo expressed his devastation to Local 10 News, saying, "I loved her with all my heart. I did everything I could to be there for her." It was reported that when Jebali addressed the detectives during her arrest, she deflectively stated, "That loser is my ex boyfriend. He lets me use his credit card."

Now, Maissa Jebali finds herself in the confines of Immigration and Customs Enforcement, awaiting potential deportation. With the TrumpCoin funds reportedly still locked within a crypto wallet only Jebali can access, her ex-partner and Bolton fear that legal restitution may remain elusive. Bolton conveyed the frustration, as quoted by 7News, "Som courtesy of the U.S. government, she’s going to get a free plane ride back to Tunisia with $850K in her pocket at this point." Jebali is currently facing two felony counts of grand theft and fraudulent use of a credit card.
