Starting tonight at 9 p.m., road closures will begin in downtown Miami for the Ultra Music Festival. These closures will last until early Monday morning, as reported by NBC Miami.
The northbound lanes of Biscayne Boulevard will be rerouted at Southeast 1st Street, with traffic returning to normal at Northeast 4th Street. Southbound traffic on Biscayne Boulevard will divert at Northeast 6th Street, according to WSVN.
PortMiami remains accessible via Northeast 5th Street, but local authorities recommend using the PortMiami tunnel from I-395 to avoid congestion. Bayfront Park will be closed to the public through April 9, with the dog park and playground locked until Friday next week.
The festival runs from Friday to Sunday, with hours from 4 p.m. to midnight on Friday, noon to midnight on Saturday, and concluding at 10 p.m. on Sunday. For southbound travel, North Miami Avenue is an alternative to Biscayne Boulevard.
Law enforcement agencies from the City of Miami and surrounding areas will be on hand to manage traffic and direct pedestrians and vehicles during the event.
