March marks a big time for high school basketball in Indiana, with the IHSAA boys basketball semi-state wrapping up and setting the stage for the state finals. Yesterday, teams competed in four classes in a single-elimination format to secure a spot in the state championship.

According to WTHR, in Class 4A, Fishers defeated South Bend Riley 82-46, and Crown Point won against Homestead 41-29. Fishers then went on to win the championship, defeating Crown Point 73-48.

In Class 3A, South Bend St. Joseph beat Maconaquah 115-81 and later secured the championship with an 84-72 win over East Chicago Central, reports IndyStar. This victory marks their return to the state finals after last year's success.
