The Palm Beach County Department of Housing & Economic Development (DHED) was recently recognized by the Palm Beach County Black Business Investment Corporation (BBIC) at its annual meeting on riday last week. The recognition highlights DHED's efforts in promoting economic growth and supporting small businesses in the area.
According to the Palm Beach County website, for over 30 years, the BBIC and Palm Beach County Commissioners have worked together, providing direct funding for job creation and business expansion. This support includes technical assistance, training, and increasing access to business capital. These initiatives have helped small, minority, and women-owned businesses grow and succeed.
At the BBIC event, President Pamela Stewart announced that the organization, along with its affiliate Pathway Capital Funding, is rebranding as Inclusifi.
