
The Pinecrest Police Department is searching for 25-year-old Michael Angelo Figueroa-Hernandez, who is suspected of assaulting a woman earlier this week. According to NBC Miami, the incident occurred on Monday morning in the 13000 block of Southwest 69th Court. Figueroa-Hernandez allegedly grabbed the woman from behind and touched her inappropriately before she called for help, causing him to flee.
Figueroa-Hernandez was last seen riding a light blue bicycle and carrying a purple shoulder bag. The bicycle was later found abandoned near Southwest 138th Street and 77th Avenue. The police search continues for Figueroa-Hernandez, who has a criminal history including arrests for aggravated battery, armed robbery, burglary, and petit theft. The Pinecrest Police are asking the public for information about his whereabouts.
The Pinecrest Police Department have also posted an alert on Facebook with details about the suspect. Figueroa-Hernandez's identity was confirmed through public assistance and investigative work.
