Tragedy struck late Tuesday night in the suburb of Bolingbrook, Illinois, where a 17-year-old boy was fatally shot inside a residence. WGN-TV reports that Bolingbrook Police responded to a call about a person shot on the 100 block of Grove Court around 11 p.m. Upon arrival, they discovered Daniel Starks, who lived at the location, with a gunshot wound.
Despite being rushed to the local hospital for urgent care, Stark was pronounced dead approximately 45 minutes after the shooting, and as of now, police have not taken anyone into custody related to the incident, in the aftermath detectives are actively seeking video or auditory evidence that might shed light on the events leading to Daniel's untimely demise.
