A morning shooting in Concord has left one man dead, creating waves of concern across the community as local law enforcement begins to piece together the details of the case. According to a social media post from the Concord Police Department, the incident occurred around 3 AM near Monument Boulevard and Meadow Lane, where patrol officers heard gunshots coinciding with several 911 calls reporting the disturbance in that vicinity.
Upon their arrival, officers discovered a forty-year-old male victim with gunshot wounds. He was pronounced dead at the scene. The preliminary investigation suggests the shots were fired from a vehicle that quickly fled the area.
