A coordinated law enforcement effort led to the arrest of a fugitive and a woman accused of obstructing justice last week in Harris County. On April 17, deputies from Harris County Constable Precinct 4 executed a warrant and arrested Marshall Tyler, a wanted fugitive, along with Regina Chevalier, a suspected accomplice.

The arrest took place in the 300 block of Kirkstall Drive after deputies received a tip about Tyler's location. According to a Facebook post by Harris County Constable Precinct 4, Chevalier allegedly provided false information to deputies in an attempt to prevent them from apprehending Tyler, who was caught trying to flee through the back door. Upon making contact with the female suspect at the location, Tyler made his ill-fated escape attempt.

Harris County Constable Precinct 4 confirmed Tyler's felony warrant was related to pardons and parole. "Both suspects were arrested and booked into the Harris County Jail. Marshall Tyler was arrested for his open felony warrant. His total bond and court information have not been set at this time. Regina Chevalier was charged with Hindering Apprehension. Her bond was set at $100.00 out of County Court 8" read a statement obtained by the Harris County Constable Precinct 4 Facebook post.

Law enforcement officials encourage residents to stay informed about local crime and safety by following the Harris County Constable Precinct 4 on social media.
