Joshua Cornblit, 45, and Meilin Cornblit, 41, found themselves at the center of a troubling scene after allegedly being involved in a collision and then failing to remain at the location to fulfill their legal duties. Local 10 News reported that the incident originally unfolded in a restaurant parking lot on the 1300 block of Weston Road.
After having drinks, Joshua Cornblit is said to have backed their GMC into an occupied Lincoln vehicle and left without providing his information to the other driver, according to the arrest report. In a turn of events, when deputies arrived at the scene near Weston Road and Blatt Boulevard, it was Meilin Cornblit found in the driver's seat, while her husband was described as "stumbling down the sidewalk eastbound toward Weston Road," via the same report. Once approached, deputies noted that Joshua Cornblit had "bloodshot eyes" and a breath carrying the heavy scent of alcohol, as per Local 10 News.
