A man driving along Interstate 465 on Indianapolis' east side was shot yesterday early morning in an incident that is currently under investigation by the Indiana State Police. According to WTHR, the shooting occurred shortly after 6 a.m., just north of the I-70 interchange on the southbound side of I-465. The victim, found in a pickup truck, was transported to the hospital and reported to be in stable condition.
While the Indiana Department of Transportation (INDOT) cameras captured the heavy presence of law enforcement on the scene, details about the circumstances leading up to the shooting have not been made public, as FOX59 noted.
