In a coordinated crackdown on illegal street racing activities, Metro Nashville Police Department, with aerial support from Tennessee Highway Patrol Aviation, carried out arrests of three teenage girls who now face numerous charges, as confirmed by multiple sources. On Trousdale Drive, officers aboard a Metro Police helicopter spotted the trio performing high-risk driving maneuvers in a white Ford Mustang.

The vehicle, with a blatant disregard for authority and public safety, managed to evade police officers on two separate attempts to pull them over, however the escapade came to an end at a nearby gas station where the adolescent culprits were finally apprehended, according to a report by WKRN.

At the helm of the Mustang was Melanie Serrano Sanabria, a 19-year-old from Gallatin, who now faces multiple charges including inciting a riot, driving without a license, two counts of evading arrest, and unlawful alcohol possession, as described by WSMV. Sanabria's bond is currently set at $38,000.

Her passengers, Gabriela Lopez-Naranjo, 18, and Camila Paolini-Jerez, 19, weren't left uncharged the police found them complicit in the incitement as well as in unlawful alcohol possession, both now facing their own repercussions with Lopez-Naranjo’s bond at $6,000 and Paolini-Jerez’s at $10,000, and not to be overlooked is that Paolini-Jerez had a prior engagement with the law on a domestic assault charge from May 2024, adding to her current woes, this information was furnished by FOX 17.

As the case against them builds, the allegations bring to light the persistent issue of youth disenchantment manifesting in unlawful activities and the continuous efforts by law enforcement to curb the dangerous repercussions of such behaviors on public safety and order.
