Officer Tyler Hobbs and Officer Renee Ware were recognized for their dedication to guiding the new generation through the nuances of traffic stop procedures—from how to approach a vehicle to the art of effective communication.
Marking a proactive approach to community-based learning, the Cadet Program aims to indoctrinate younger individuals actively interested in the criminal justice system. Striving to develop leadership skills well beyond the confines of law enforcement, the program offers youth aged 14-21 a hands-on opportunity to grow into roles of community servitude. "Leadership starts long before the badge. Our Cadet Program gives young men and women a head start—not just in law enforcement, but in life," said Chief Kyle Weatherly in a statement, as per their Facebook post.
