Early this morning, a stabbing incident in Westchester left three men hospitalized, sparking an investigation by the Miami-Dade Sheriff's Office. The event took place near Southwest 93rd Court and 16th Street, as per Local 10's report. Party-goers are familiar with the venue, which has been identified by locals as a frequent site for revelry. The early morning calm was shattered by screams, prompting calls to emergency services. According to Local 10, “There were three adult males with apparent stab wounds. Miami-Dade Fire Rescue responded. They transported the males to a local hospital. One was in critical condition. The other two were in stable condition. We do believe that the victims know the subject, therefore we believe this is an isolated incident,” Detective Samantha A. Choon detailed.
The assailant remains unaccounted for, with authorities yet to discern the motive behind the attacks. It's believed that the victims were acquainted with the suspect, suggesting that the incident wasn't random but isolated. The scene was cordoned off by police, centering notably around a black SUV that lay on the grass outside the home, NBC Miami describes. Those with information or access to neighborhood surveillance footage are urged to contact Miami-Dade Crime Stoppers, as police work to piece together the circumstances that precipitated this violence.
