
A stabbing incident in Carmel on Friday night last week left two men injured and led to one arrest. Officers responded to a disturbance call around 10:44 p.m. on the 12700 block of Meeting House Road, according to the Carmel Police Department's Facebook post.
Police say a male suspect allegedly stabbed another man in the back and remained at the scene, where he was quickly detained by responding officers. One victim was transported to a local hospital with a serious back injury, while a second man, who suffered a stab wound to his lower leg, later sought medical attention on his own.
The suspect was taken to the Carmel Police Department for questioning before being booked into the Hamilton County Jail. He faces charges including Battery by Means of a Deadly Weapon, Battery – Basic Offense, and Disorderly Conduct, according to a statement from Carmel Police on social media.
