The University of Utah's track and field team witnessed two of their senior athletes, Bailey Kealamakia and Chloe Shewell, stepping up their game at the Robison Invitational. According to Utahutes.com, the pair delivered noteworthy performances that caught the attention of spectators and added some excitement to an otherwise standard Wednesday meet.

Setting the pace early on, Shewell took the lead in the open 400m, clocking a personal record of 56.05 seconds, a time that also snagged her the section win. On the sprints side, Kealamakia showcased her prowess, although she just missed making it into the coveted top-three spots, by finishing fourth in the 100m dash with a time of 12.00 seconds. Hot on her heels was Shewell, placing close behind with a 12.46-second sprint, making it a day of back-to-back performances for the Ute athletes.

It wasn't over for Kealamakia, who once again put her speed on display in the 400m hurdles. She managed to snag a third-place finish and, more notably, a new personal best with a time of 58.78 seconds. This achievement further cements her position as the eighth-fastest 400m hurdler in the history of Utah's track program, an accomplishment not to be overshadowed by the day's earlier events.
