
Hoosiers, get ready to rock, sway, and groove at the Indiana State Fair as the final lineup for the 2025 Hoosier Lottery Free Stage has been unveiled. This summer's "Soundtrack of Summer" series is bringing a rich variety of acts including DJs, notable actor-musicians, tribute bands, and Christian music artists. The latest wave of announcements adds to an already jam-packed schedule, ensuring fairgoers have a reason to visit every day of the event.
The series kicks off on August 1st with Three Dog Night, according to FOX59 and runs through August 17th, offering a diverse mix of entertainment. Among the headlining acts, Bill Murray and His Blood Brothers will take the stage on August 8th, while the following night gives a nod to nostalgic movie fans with a "Rookie of the Year" screening followed by a live performance from the Thomas Nicholas Band and an Emo Night DJ Set. Chris Tomlin, an award-winning Christian singer, is set to perform on August 10th, as highlighted in the announcements.
One exciting addition revealed by WIBC is the Latino Day celebration on August 12th with the performance by Banda Troyana. Some acts, such as Phil Vassar and Lonestar's co-headlining show on August 14th, will start earlier at 6 p.m., deviating from the typical 7:30 p.m. start time. Other notable artists include Babyface and Melissa Etheridge, bringing a blend of R&B and rock to the fair.
The fair, which is closed on Mondays, offers all these performances free with paid fair admission. Seats are first-come, first-served, but a limited number of reserved viewing area tickets are available now, as stated by WTHR. The Beatles enthusiasts will be particularly thrilled on August 16th when "1964 The Tribute" takes the stage, providing a throwback to the era of the British Invasion. Closing out the fair on August 17th is the Gospel Music Festival featuring Marvin Sapp, rounding out the series with soulful spiritual music.
