The Indiana State Fair is gearing up to bring a classic entertainment experience this August with the debut of the Big Top Circus. According to Fox59, fairgoers will be treated to all the spectacle a circus entails at no additional cost, as the Big Top Circus comes included with the price of admission to the fair, which runs from Aug. 1 through Aug. 17, closing only on Mondays.
Quintessential circus performances will animate the newly minted Big Top Zone, complete with the staples of clowns, acrobats, and aerialists, featured under the classic circus tent. A family-favorite attraction, the Big Top Circus will give multiple performances daily with scheduled showtimes at 1 p.m., 4 p.m., and 7 p.m., WISH-TV reports.
Ringmaster Ian Garden Jr. is set to lead the circus, representing the third generation of the renowned Garden family active in the circus industry. Meanwhile, Brian Miser, also known as The Human Fuse, will thrill crowds as a human cannonball, a feat that earned him a Guinness World Record. The X-Metal Riders will amp up the adrenaline further with their Globe of Death motorcycle stunt act, defying gravity and danger in a spherical steel cage.
Expressing enthusiasm for the vintage-meets-modern event, Indiana State Fair spokesperson LeRoy Lewis III commented, "We are so grateful for Bee Window’s partnership in helping us bring the magic of the circus to life for our fairgoers" in a statement obtained by WTHR. He continued, "The Big Top Zone is going to be a favorite destination for families and visitors of all age," showcasing the mix of nostalgia and exhilaration shaping up to be the marquee feature of this year’s state fair.
