The cause is a repeat of last year's successful relaunch, "We relaunched IPSF’s signature event, Frontline, in 2024 with great success at Everwise Amphitheater at White River State Park to increase the support we are able to provide to first responders and those helping to enhance public safety in our community," said Dane Nutty, president, and CEO of the Indy Public Safety Foundation. The Tactical Tail-Gate, a pre-concert activity offering insights into the daily work of local heroes, allows for deeper community engagement with the men and women who serve and protect.
Tickets for this charitable venture will be going on sale this coming Friday at 10 a.m., and are expected to attract both die-hard classic rock aficionados and supporters of the city's first responders alike. The headlining bands bring with them a rich repertoire of hits, with Kansas performing anthems like "Carry On Wayward Son," and "Dust in the Wind," while Jefferson Starship will span decades with tracks from multiple rotational bands including Jefferson Airplane's "White Rabbit" and Starship’s "We Built This City."
The Indy Public Safety Foundation, founded back in 2015, is the backbone organization behind the Frontline event, which serves as a fundraiser for the roughly 4,000 local responders. According to WIBC, the foundation emphasizes that it is not just about the funds but also about the recognition of the community's brave public safety personnel.
