Earlier this morning, the quiet of Noblesville was punctuated by the sound of a vehicle crashing into Hoosier Armory, a local gun store. According to FOX59, the Noblesville Police Department responded to a business alarm at around 4:46 a.m., only to find the store at 98 N. 10th Street had been breached by suspects using a vehicle recently reported stolen out of Marion County. The implications of this burglary are particularly concerning, considering the nature of the store's inventory.
The police have yet to make any arrests in connection with the break-in, which remains an active investigation. As the officers arrived on the scene, they found the car used to force entry into the storefront abandoned. A glooming concern now rises as the owner takes stock of the inventory to determine what, if any, weapons were taken, as reported by WTHR.
Details on the heist seem to echo a previous incident, marking the second time in under a year that Hoosier Armory has been victimized by similar criminal tactics. On September 22, a vehicle rammed into the store in what was another robbery attempt. WISH-TV notes that during that event, the suspects were not immediately found by the responding officers either.
