As summer begins to fade, Brownsburg is gearing up to welcome fall with a series of community events that blend family fun with autumnal traditions, and let's be clear, they're not skimping on the festivities—think classic hayrides and Halloween movies under the stars, according to an announcement posted on the town of Brownsburg's official website.

The seasonal kick-off is National Night Out, hosted by the Brownsburg Police Department and Fire Territory. The event will feature entertainment, food, and participation from more than 90 local businesses, along with K9 demonstrations and games. In addition, the Fall Market in Arbuckle Acres Park will include local vendors, food trucks, and live music from the band 90 Proof.

Movies in the Park, presented by Centier Bank on October 17, will feature a sunset showing of 'Hotel Transylvania' with free popcorn. Bird enthusiasts can observe the migration season on select mornings at various parks, with binoculars provided by the Parks Foundation of Hendricks County. Additionally, the 'Sense the Night Hike' at Williams Park will allow participants to explore nocturnal wildlife without artificial lighting.

The community will offer nature discovery programs and beginner sports lessons for children throughout the season. Fall Break Camp will include seasonal activities, and a Mother and Son Bonfire Night is also scheduled, featuring a bat presentation. Volunteer opportunities are available, including the removal of invasive plant species and assisting at the Field of Honor, where 250 flags represent veterans’ service and sacrifice.

The Treesgiving event will take place on November 20 at Williams Park, inviting residents to participate in urban forestry activities. Brownsburg has a full schedule of seasonal events planned for the fall.
