Dane Clark will perform a blend of heartland rock and Americana in Downtown Anderson. The concert is scheduled for Friday at 7:30 p.m. in Dickmann Town Center as part of the Anderson Summer Concert Series. The event is organized by Mayor Thomas Broderick, Jr. and the City of Anderson Parks & Recreation Department.
Having toured and recorded with artists such as John Mellencamp, Clark has established himself in the music industry both as a sideman and as a solo artist. The City of Anderson announced in a social media post that the performance will include a setlist of original songs and classic covers, performed by Clark and his band. The show will combine musical performance with storytelling.
Speaking about the upcoming performance, Mayor Broderick said, “Dane Clark is not only a world-class musician, but he’s also an artist who embodies the Midwest spirit through his music. We’re happy to have him perform in Anderson as a feature artist in our Summer Concert Series.” The event is free to the public, as reported by the City of Anderson.
The Anderson Summer Concert Series will continue after Dane Clark’s performance. Upcoming events include Magnolia Soul on September 12 and GrooveSmash on September 19.
