The Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department is seeking assistance from the public in finding Claranetta Dickerson, a 76-year-old woman from Indianapolis who has gone missing. FOX59 reported that the IMPD Missing Persons Detectives request the help to locate Claranetta, who is described as 5’4, weighing 140 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes.
Adding details to Claranetta's last known appearance, WISH-TV shared that she was last seen wearing a mint-green pajama outfit, and might be wearing a black bonnet with a flower on it. She went missing from the southeast side of Indianapolis, a detail that echoes the urgency of pinpointing her last whereabouts to aid the search efforts.
The area from which Dickerson disappeared has been identified by authorities. According to WTHR, she was last seen earlier today in the 7700 block of Thorney Wood Drive. This location is situated near East Raymond Street and South Franklin Road, just south of the I-465 area.
IMPD has not yet provided specific details on the circumstances leading to Dickerson's disappearance, nor have they offered theories, as to her current whereabouts.
