Montgomery County legislators are highlighting recently enacted Indiana laws affecting students and homeowners. State Rep. Beau Baird authored a law allowing students up to six excused absences per school year for 4-H and FFA events, according to Indiana House Republicans.
State Rep. Matt Commons highlighted Senate Enrolled Act 1, which provides $1.3 billion in property tax relief over three years for homeowners, seniors on fixed incomes, and small businesses, as reported by Indiana House Republicans.
