A tragic incident unfolded at Comlara Park in Hudson, where a 57-year-old man was found dead near his bicycle on a trail, according to Central Illinois Proud. McLean County Coroner Kathy Yoder pronounced the man dead at the scene, following the distressing discovery made on Monday afternoon.
Coroner Yoder was notified about the incident at approximately 4:24 p.m., as mentioned in the initial finding. Despite efforts to revive the man, unfortunately, he was declared dead upon the authorities' arrival. An autopsy, which took place on August 12, indicated that the man, now identified as Shawn J. Anderson from Normal, had succumbed to cervical spinal injuries consistent with a bicycle crash, as reported by 25NewsNow.
