The Pembroke Park police department has issued an urgent call to the public for assistance in the search for a missing and endangered man, Vienvenido Munoz Escobar, 66, who was last seen leaving a care facility in Pembroke Park, as reported by WSVN. Escobar, described as a Hispanic male standing about 5 feet 4 inches tall and weighing approximately 110 pounds with gray hair and a beard, was spotted last Tuesday near The Plaza at 3535 SW 52nd Avenue after being dropped off by a bus from Memorial Regional Hospital, subsequent to which he walked off the premises without a known destination.
During his last sighting, Escobar was wearing blue jeans, a blue shirt, and was seen carrying two plastic bags, the police are gravely concerned because he suffers from mental health conditions and memory loss, and he's currently without his necessary medications. Authorities have highlighted the added difficulty in locating Escobar due to his history of using multiple aliases, including Vienuenido Escobar, Bienvenido Munoz, and Bieneido Escobar, which could potentially create confusion and hinder the search efforts.
Meanwhile, the Pembroke Park Police Department has bolstered its plea through social media, with a post that reads, "Please help us to locate Mr. Vienvenido Munoz Escobar," linking to their official post that provides an avenue for the community to partake in the search, which can be found on their X page.
