Early Tuesday morning, a devastating house fire claimed the lives of two people and critically injured another in a northwest suburb of Chicago. NBC Chicago reports that the Streamwood Fire Department responded to the emergency just after 1 a.m. at a residence located at the intersection of Barrington and Bode roads. Upon arrival, firefighters faced a significant challenge as smoke billowed from a two-story house with a large fire raging in the basement.
