In Brownsburg, the local fire department participated in a hoagie-building contest during the grand opening of a Wawa store. According to the Brownsburg Fire Territory's Facebook post, the B-Shift Crews won against the police department, with Engine 132-B named the hoagie-building champions.
On the same day, Ladder 131-B took part in a Touch-a-Truck event at the Calvary Learning Center. Firefighters provided tours of the truck, and children had an opportunity to see and handle firefighter gear.
These activities show the Brownsburg Fire Territory’s participation in community events, combining public engagement with educational opportunities for residents.
