Indiana saw several significant Powerball wins over the Labor Day weekend. These included a $2 million ticket, three tickets worth $150,000 each, and four tickets worth $50,000 each, according to WTHR.
Two of the $50,000 Powerball tickets were purchased at Speedway gas stations in Crawfordsville and Knightstown, while FOX59 reported that a third Powerball with Double Play ticket, worth an undisclosed amount, was sold at a Circle K in Fishers. Officials advise players to re-check their numbers.
Yesterday, Powerball numbers were 3-16-29-61-69 with a Powerball of 22. Although Indiana produced several winners, the main jackpot rolled over with no grand-prize winner.
On the previous Saturday last week, 12 players nationwide matched five numbers to win at least $1 million each. With a Power Play of 3x, those winners collected even larger amounts. According to TCPalm, winning tickets came from states including Florida, California, Connecticut, Illinois, Massachusetts, Pennsylvania, Colorado, Indiana, and New Hampshire.
