State Rep. Jim Pressel (R-Rolling Prairie) attended the White House State Leadership Conference in Washington, D.C., an event focused on cooperation between state officials and the White House on issues affecting Indiana residents. According to Indiana House Republicans release, the conference addressed education, public safety, and streamlining government processes. Vice President JD Vance was among the participants.
Pressel met with senior White House officials and Cabinet secretaries during the conference. “Visiting the White House and meeting with our nation’s leaders was a great opportunity to tout Indiana’s success and gain resources to improve for the future,” Pressel said, as reported by Indiana House Republicans. His participation highlighted Indiana’s collaboration with the Trump Administration.
The conference also included a Q&A session, allowing lawmakers to directly engage with speakers and agency representatives. Pressel stated, “It was an honor to represent Indiana and I am thankful for the invitation,” according to Indiana House Republicans.
