The Indiana Senate Republican Caucus is offering paid internship positions for college sophomores, recent graduates, and graduate and law school students during the 2026 legislative session. State Sen. Ron Alting of Lafayette announced openings in communications, information technology, legal, legislative, page, and policy offices.
As per the Indiana Senate Republican release, internships include a $900 biweekly stipend and may offer academic credit, scholarships, professional development, and networking opportunities. The program begins with a mandatory orientation in late December or early January and continues through the end of the session in March 2026. Positions are full-time and based at the Statehouse in downtown Indianapolis.
Applicants of all majors are encouraged to apply, with the opportunity to work closely with state leadership and gain experience in the legislative process.
