A Miami man, previously arrested for the alleged sexual battery of an 8-year-old girl, is now facing additional charges after an investigation uncovered more than 100 files of child and animal sexual abuse material in his possession. Local 10 reports that 21-year-old Osher Pittman, of Allapattah, was implicated by content shared on the messaging app Discord, prompting investigators to execute a search warrant at his residence in August.
During the search, officials discovered disturbing content on Pittman's electronic devices. According to NBC Miami, investigators located images showing "a sexual performance by a child" and "a person engaged in sexual conduct with animals." Pittman, who blamed the initial allegations on ongoing issues with the victim’s mother, has remained held without bond since his arrest on May 28.
His incarceration at the Turner Guilford Knight Correctional Center has been extended with the addition of 16 new felonies. The Miami Police Department expressed its resolve, stating, "Through meticulous investigative work, detectives were able to successfully bring a perpetrator of such despicable acts to justice and therefore prevent further harm to innocent children." This sentiment was echoed in the information obtained by Local 10.
