The B&O Trail in Brownsburg will feature a new 100-foot mural painted by volunteers from IU Health West Hospital as part of their annual Day of Service.
As per the Town of Brownsburg release, the mural, designed by Megan Attwood, Brownsburg Parks Community Recreation Senior Manager, will depict trail users walking dogs, jogging, and enjoying outdoor activities. The unveiling is scheduled for Thursday next week, and pedestrians are advised to exercise caution near Virgil Park from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. during the painting.
IU Health West Hospital has partnered with Brownsburg Parks for 17 years, contributing to service projects such as tree plantings and improvements to community play spaces. The mural continues this partnership, with volunteers also participating in other initiatives like rain garden installations and invasive plant removal.
