A fatal crash occurred early this morning in downtown Indianapolis. According to FOX59, the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department (IMPD) responded to the intersection of N. East Street and E. Ohio Street around 3 a.m. after reports of a personal injury accident.
Two vehicles were involved in the collision, resulting in at least one death. The IMPD has not yet released details about the circumstances of the crash or the identity of the deceased.
WTHR reported that one person was pronounced dead at the scene.
WISH-TV added that the initial IMPD dispatch was for a “traffic stop” that was later classified as an “accident fatal.” Information about other possible injuries remains limited as the investigation continues.
