State Rep. Kyle Pierce (R-Anderson) attended the White House State Leadership Conference, where Indiana officials met with senior White House staff to discuss state priorities. Pierce met with Vice President JD Vance and several Cabinet secretaries during the event, according to Indiana House Republicans.
Discussions covered Indiana’s progress in education, public safety, reducing bureaucracy, and energy policy. Pierce noted that Indiana’s role in national energy discussions included efforts to address policy and cost reduction.
The conference included a Q&A session that allowed lawmakers to ask questions directly to agency representatives and speakers. Pierce said the event provided an opportunity to strengthen relationships between Indiana and federal leaders and highlighted the importance of state leadership in shaping national policy.
