Two Chicago men, both 20 years old, face serious charges after allegedly robbing a man at gunpoint, with details of the incident leading to their swift arrest now public. According to the Chicago Police Department's news release, Jaden Hollinsworth and Omarion Lloyd were apprehended on September 13, 2025, within hours of the reported robbery in the city's South Side.
Hollinsworth, residing on the 7700 block of S. Kimbark Ave., has been charged with one felony count of armed robbery, unlawful possession of a weapon by a felon, and two misdemeanor counts, including resisting or obstructing an officer and obstructing identification the 0-100 block of W. 79th St. became the scene of the reported robbery, and responding officers were quick in locating the suspects, with Hollinsworth arrested at 3:07 p.m.
Lloyd, from the 7600 block of S. Stewart Ave., faces similar robbery and weapon charges, alongside a felony count for aggravated battery against a peace officer and additional misdemeanors and a citation that includes possession of a firearm laser sight accessory. He was taken into custody at 2:30 p.m., and both men were identified as the assailants who robbed a 43-year-old male barely ten minutes before their arrest.
