
Early Monday morning, a vehicle crash in Madison County led to two individuals being hospitalized after their car was flipped on its side. The incident took place at County Road 67, west of County Road 500 East, near Chesterfield, as reported by WTHR. The East Madison Fire Territory responded to the scene, where two people were freed from a Toyota sedan and then transported to a Muncie hospital for treatment.
According to details from the scene reported by the FOX59, the crash was alerted to officials around 3 a.m. The Daleville-Salem Township fire department was dispatched, and upon arrival, they discovered a car severely damaged, requiring the extrication of the car’s occupants. Responders promptly managed for the victims to be taken to an area hospital for their injuries.
Authorities are still investigating the cause of the crash and are asking drivers to be careful near the scene. So far, the East Madison Fire Territory has only confirmed that the victims were transported for treatment, as per FOX59.
