The City of Anderson has added three new first responders to its emergency response team. At the Safety Board meeting yesterday, Mayor Thomas Broderick, Jr. introduced two new firefighters, Nathan Morrow and Blair Webster, to the Anderson Fire Department, and a new police officer, Patrick DelTurco, to the Anderson Police Department.

Before their formal swearing-in by Fire Chief Dave Cravens and Police Chief Mike Lee, Mayor Broderick met the new first responders and their families. According to a social media post from the City of Anderson Government, Chief Cravens described the firefighter recruits as highly qualified.

The City of Anderson posted a statement saying, “Congratulations and welcome to our newest first responders. We are grateful for your service to the City of Anderson, and we wish each of you long, safe, and prosperous careers.”
