Residents of the Greenacres/Pickwick Park East neighborhood in Palm Beach County no longer need to boil their water, according to the Palm Beach County Water Utilities Department (PBCWUD). The precautionary boil water notice, which affected several streets including Lancaster Drive, Pickwick Park Drive East, Greenwich Drive, Abbey Court, Durham Court, Eaton Court, Hadley Court, and 5730 10th Ave. North, has been lifted, as per the Palm Beach County website.
The advisory was issued as a safety measure, but recent lab tests conducted over two consecutive days confirmed that the water meets all regulatory standards and is safe for consumption. The notice was officially lifted yesterday.
