A new group of recruits has joined the Carmel Police Department, as announced in a recent social media post. The trainees include Officer Scaggs, Officer Fordham, Officer Gutierrez, Officer Garcia, and Officer Jackson. They are currently completing local training at CPD and will continue their professional training in January at the Indiana Law Enforcement Academy.
The Carmel Police Department invited the community to welcome the new recruits in a recent Facebook post, stating, "Please join us in welcoming the newest members of the Carmel Police Department family!"
The department added in their Facebook post about community involvement and ended with, "Welcome to the team!" to mark the beginning of the recruits’ training and duties.
