In a tragic event unfolding in Miami's Little Havana neighborhood, local authorities confirmed the death of a man who was fatally pinned beneath a vehicle this morning. According to CBS Miami, the Miami Police Department reported that officers responded to a call close to 9 a.m. at the corner of SW 7th Avenue and SW 8th Street after receiving information about a "pedestrian hit". Upon their arrival, police discovered the victim in question beneath a vehicle where he was declared deceased at the scene by Miami Fire Rescue.
Further details from the scene depicted by NBC Miami indicated the man, believed to be around 40 years old, was working on the vehicle when it rolled on top of him resulting in the fatal incident, police officials relayed, an aerial view captured by Chopper 6 showed law enforcement surveying a white van which is assumed to be the subject vehicle.
