Three individuals have been hospitalized following a shooting at an Indianapolis CVS pharmacy last night. According to WTHR, the incident occurred around 6:45 p.m. at the location in the 4400 block of East 10th Street. Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department (IMPD) officers found two women inside the store suffering from gunshot wounds, both of whom were "stable" when transported to the hospital.

IMPD Lt. Vincent Stewart conveyed to 13News that a disturbance appeared to have occurred inside the CVS, and afterwards, spilled into the parking lot. Shortly after the women were found, a man arrived at Community Hospital East with a gunshot wound, his condition was described as "stable."

FOX59 indicates that the response came after a call regarding a disturbance at the CVS situated at 4401 E. 10th St. around 6:41 p.m. The nature of the disturbance preceding the shooting, however, remains subject to ongoing investigation by the IMPD.

Officers were able to respond to the scene shortly before 7 p.m., according to WRTV. At the site, they discovered two victims, both with injuries consistent with gunshot wounds, and reported to be in stable condition. The precise circumstances leading up to, and including the shooting remain, unclear as IMPD continues to piece together witness statements and surveillance footage.

The immediate area around the CVS was temporarily cordoned off as police secured the scene and began collecting evidence. Local residents were urged to avoid the area to allow for an unhindered investigation. IMPD has not released any information concerning potential suspects or motives at this time.
