After a 14-month investigation into human trafficking, Indiana State Police arrested three people connected to a prostitution ring operating out of Central Indiana spas. According to FOX59, the operation targeted businesses posing as massage parlors while engaging in illegal activities. Multiple search warrants and arrests were carried out yesterday.

WTHR reported that Indiana State Police from the Peru and Indianapolis posts, along with local police and federal agents, searched Sun Spa in Kokomo, Dahlia Spa, and Sunflower Spa in Indianapolis. Additional searches took place at homes in Noblesville and Carmel. Arrest warrants were issued for Yanyan Zhao, 35, and Xingchen Li, 36, both from Noblesville, who were later taken into custody.

A third person, Hui Li, 56, was also arrested at a Noblesville home on similar charges. All three are being held in the Howard County Jail and face preliminary charges that include corrupt business influence and promoting prostitution. FOX59 reported that an adult victim was found during the operation and was provided with assistance and shelter.

According to WISH-TV, online listings still show the involved spas as open, though authorities have not confirmed their current operational status. The investigation remains active, and Indiana State Police are asking anyone with information to contact their Peru Post.
