The Westfield Police Department in Indiana is using social media to help locate the owner of a found dog. The dog was found near the intersection of 191st Street and Shady Nook and is now being cared for by the Humane Society for Hamilton County.
According to a Facebook post on the department, the dog is safe and receiving proper care. The Westfield Police stated "He’s safe and in good hands, and will be taken to the Hamilton County Humane Society."
They have requested that anyone with information about the dog or its owners contact the Humane Society to help facilitate a reunion.
