East Stevens Street in Cookeville will be closed to through traffic from South Walnut Avenue to Clover Avenue on November 24. The City of Cookeville Department of Water Quality Control announced the closure, which will be in effect from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.
The closure is for sewer line repairs. Residents and commuters are advised to plan alternate routes to avoid delays. The City of Cookeville issued the notice in advance to allow the public time to adjust travel plans.
